Terms of use
Terms of use.
1. Who we are
WantMyTime (wantmytime.com) is operated by Kredit Technologies Limited (RC 9834452), a company registered in Nigeria, with its office at House No. 348, Jamaina Road, Pompomari Bypass, Maiduguri, Borno State. In these terms, “we” means Kredit Technologies Limited; a “seller” is someone who offers their time through a WantMyTime link; a “buyer” is someone who books and pays for that time.
2. What WantMyTime does
Sellers publish a personal page where buyers pick a time and pay, or make an offer. We are not a party to the conversation itself. The seller alone decides what they offer and is responsible for it, including any licence, qualification or professional rule that applies to their work. We don’t verify sellers’ expertise.
3. Accounts
You sign in with a code sent to your email address, so whoever controls that inbox controls the account. Buyers can book without an account; the booking is tied to the email address they give. You must be at least 18, and the information you give must be true. One person, one seller link.
4. Prices, fees and currency
- The seller sets the price (or agrees one through an offer). The price is in the currency of the country the seller is paid in, and buyers see it before they pay.
- WantMyTime keeps 5% of the price of each paid booking. There is no other charge to sellers.
- The buyer pays the payment provider’s charge for the way they choose to pay (bank transfer, pay with bank, mobile money) on top of the price, shown before they pay.
5. How payment works
Buyers pay WantMyTime through our licensed payment provider when they book. A booking is confirmed only when the provider confirms the payment. We hold the money until after the session, and until the buyer’s window to report a problem (two hours after the session ends) has passed, and then pay the seller their share, normally about three hours after the session. A pay-with-bank or mobile money payment can take one more working day to reach us before it can be paid out. We do not take card payments. If a payment arrives after the time was taken, or a buyer pays twice, we return that payment in full.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- Each seller chooses a cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict). The policy in force when a booking is made applies to it and is shown before payment.
- A buyer who cancels gets back what that policy allows; the payment fee is not returned. Any buyer who cancels within an hour of booking, for a time at least a day away, gets a full refund.
- If the seller cancels, or a report that the seller did not join stands, the buyer gets everything back, including the payment fee, and the seller is not paid for that booking.
- A buyer can ask the seller for a full refund outside the policy. The seller decides.
- Refunds go back to the account the buyer paid from. Banks can take up to 10 working days to show them.
7. Problems and no-shows
Either person can report that the other didn’t join, from 10 minutes after the start until two hours after the end. The other person can dispute it within 24 hours; if they don’t, it stands. A buyer can report any other problem within two hours of the end. The seller then has 24 hours to refund all or part of the price, or to disagree; if the seller does not answer, the buyer is refunded the price in full. The seller’s payout for that booking waits until the report is settled. We decide only reports the other person disputes, on the evidence both people give us, and can refund part or all of a payment. Our decision on a report is final as far as WantMyTime is concerned, without affecting any rights you have in law.
8. Seller obligations
- Keep your availability accurate and turn up to your bookings.
- Provide a working meeting link (or let us create one) and deliver what your page offers.
- Give us payout details for an account in your own name or your business’s name. For your protection, payouts to a changed account start 24 hours after the change.
- If a refund is made after you have been paid, the refunded share of your earnings is recovered from your later payouts.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. We can pause a link, hold payouts related to suspected fraud or abuse, or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it.
10. Liability
We provide the booking and payment service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for what is said or advised in a conversation, or for a seller’s or buyer’s conduct. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy notice.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version in force when a booking is made applies to that booking, and we will tell sellers by email about changes that affect them. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country’s consumer law.
